In anticipation of the expansion and renovation of the current library building, Ames Public Library has moved to a temporary location! The expansion and complete renovation of the current building at 515 Douglas Avenue is expected to take about 18 months.
How to Return Items
A drop box is available outside of the entrance to the Lincoln Center location.
Book Donations
Donations of books should be taken to 809 E. Lincoln Way during one of the following drop off times:
- Tuesdays: 3:30-5:00pm
- Thursdays: 9:00-11:30am
- Fridays: 3:30-5:00pm
- Saturdays: 12:00-1:30pm
- Or by appointment. (Call 239-5663 to schedule.)
