About the Renewal Project

Ames Public Library's project to renovate and expand the building at 515 Douglas Avenue will increase the size of the library by 63% to about 78,000 square feet. While construction continues, Ames Public Library's materials and services are available in its temporary location at 620 Lincoln Way (next to Hobby Lobby). The Bookmobile also makes weekly visits to neighborhoods throughout the community.Library Renewal Project Artist Rendering
