Mosey on in to the Library for a series of legendary western movies showing at Ames Public Library this fall.
Wednesday, September 3 Starring: John Wayne, Montgomery Clift, Walter Brennan. Directed by Howard Hawks. The cattle baron of a vast Texas ranch and his adopted son head the first cattle drive over the Chisholm Trail. The journey to the Missouri railhead is filled with hardships including floods, stampedes, rustlers, and mutiny as father and son face a final showdown with each other at the end of the trail.
