Photograph of the Bauge cabin in its original location northeast of Huxley, Iowa. In 1988, the Ames Heritage Association took on as a project the relocation and restoration of this pioneer cabin which had wood siding and a lean-to added since its construction in the 1ate 1860s. The unidentified man is probably a member of the Ames Heritage Association.
