July, 1907 -- the first Interurban railroad car to come up Onondaga (Main) Street. Grove's store was on corner of Kellogg Ave. at left; Odd Fellows building is taller building on far left. One story tin-covered building on right was replaced in 1912/13 by Ames Savings Bank building which later became Ames Stationers. (See also: 11.46.2)

Northeast corner of Onondaga and Douglas showing Parley Sheldon's Story County Bank. On second floor of bank are offices of McCarthy & Lee, lawyers. Bank was moved to corner of Kellogg and Main in 1917 (in Sheldon-Munn Hotel building). (See also: 25.126.2)

From 1907 (the year the streetcar tracks were laid on Onondaga [Main] Street) panoramic of the north side of Onondaga. This portion shows the entrance to the Union National Bank on the northwest corner of Douglas Avenue and Onondaga, on the right side of photograph. In the two and a half lots just west of the bank is the Tilden Store. Judisch Brothers Drug Store adjoins Tilden's, to the west (Bros. part of its sign shows on the left of this photo). The front of Tilden's was rebuilt in 1918 with a then-modern facade which would remain throughout the remaining life of the store, which discontinued business in 1971.

A 1907 photo (part of a panorama) shows north side of Onondaga (Main) Street. Buildings shown between Douglas and Kellogg include Wallace Greeley's Union National Bank at right with O.K. Barbershop in basement. Tilden Department Store occupied building west of bank, down to Judisch's Drug Store at left. (See also: 12.51.1)
