Looking west toward the corner of Sheldon Avenue and West Street in 1913 when the State Gym was being built on the Iowa State College campus. Collegiate Presbyterian Church was built about two years later on that corner. Tracks shown in the foreground were extended from the streetcar line to bring building materials to the gym site.
