Taken from the south section of Mary Greeley Medical Center in 1986, looking east at the intersection of Twelfth Street with Duff Avenue. On the northeast corner at 1202 Duff is Physicians Optical in a building which had been the Hildebrand Pharmacy from 1971-1980. Presently [2001] the building is occupied by Clinics Consultants Management. On the southeast corner is seen the Family Practice Medical Clinic (1128 Duff) which in 1986 was the practice of Drs. Lowell Bond, Thomas Gartin, and Lee Rosebrook. In 1989, the building was purchased by the McFarland Clinic and became the McFarland Eye Center. The Family Practice Clinic built a new building at 1018 Duff, which was purchased by McFarland in 1998 and today [2001] is the McFarland Family Practice Clinic, East.

Looking northeast along the side of Duff Avenue from the top floor of the Mary Greeley Medical Center. Two opticians' offices can be seen: Physicians Optical (formerly, this was the Hildebrand Pharmacy) at 1202 Duff and Benson's House of Vision at 1201 Duff. The Benson building was later removed to accommodate the hospital's expansion. The three buildings north of Physicians Optical are dental offices (1212, 1220, and 1226 Duff).
