The Interurban stopping at the Alleman, Iowa, station around 1920. Alleman is south of Huxley, a mile to the west of Highway 69. The Interurban was part of the service of the Fort Dodge, Des Moines & Southern Railroad. At the Kelley, Iowa, junction, the streetcars from Ames joined the line for connections with Boone, Fort Dodge, Des Moines, and other towns such as Alleman. (See also: 217.1237.1)
