This photo, taken from the 1915 time capsule in the old Municipal Building (now, 1997, the Youth & Shelter Services headquarters), shows Ames High School on the east side of Clark Avenue at Sixth Street. The School was built in 1912. after the new high school was constructed on the west side of the street in 1937, the east building was used as the junior high school. The building was razed in 1981.
