Community Garden Kick-off
Thursday, May 23, 10:00am and 6:30pm, City of Ames Community Garden (S. Maple and S. 4th Street)
Help us start our garden plot and learn some ideas and tips for your own garden. (Rain date: May 30) Smyles will be there, too!
Summer Reading Program Begins
Saturday, June 1
Pick up your reading incentive program at Ames Public Library, the Bookmobile, or at any of our youth and family events and activities!
Summer Kick-off Event: Polkas You Can Dig 
Wednesday, June 5, 2:00pm, Bandshell Park, 6th and Duff, Ames
You want happy? You got it! Pint Size Polkas is tons of fun for young and old! Come listen, clap, stomp, and dance to this lively music! Smyles will be there, too!
