Parents, teachers, and all people interested in children’s literature are invited to a booktalk about APL’s favorite books for young people published in 2009. Books will be available for browsing starting at 6:00 pm. Presented by Youth Services staff in the Farwell T. Brown Auditorium, this program is free to the public.

Make & Take Early Literacy Crafts and Activities
Saturday, February 27, 1:00-3:00pm, Farwell T. Brown Auditorium
Parents, grandparents, and caregivers are invited to experience the art of “process crafts” that support the early literacy skills, including flannel board stories, creating and using musical instruments, and I Spy bags. All materials will be provided.
