The Iowa Center for the Book (ICB) is a program of the State Library of Iowa and an affiliate of the Center for the Book in the Library of Congress. The mission of the ICB is to stimulate public interest in books, reading, literacy and libraries.

Based on the Book
Mid-Continent Public Library (Missouri). 'Based on the Book' is a compilation of over 1,200 books, novels, short stories, and plays that have been made into motion pictures. Utilizing the Internet Movie Database as the authority, all movies in this collection have been released as feature-length films in the United States, in English, since 1980.
Juvenile Series and Sequels
Mid-Continent Public Library (Missouri). The Juvenile Series and Sequels' database currently contains over 23,500 books in series titles that are classified into three audiences:
- Young Adult – for high school-aged readers
- Juvenile – appropriate for grade school through junior high-aged readers
- Juvenile Easy – for young readers just beginning to read
