Kids and teens entering 4th - 12th grade are invited to the Ames Public Library to experience the excitement of NirvanaOnline!

NirvanaOnline is a Minecraft-based MMORPG created by Network Nirvana. Players connect to NirvanaOnline servers to access a massive shared-world experience that champions STEM-based learning and challenges players to expand their critical thinking skills with team-based content objectives. Players learn soft skills while adventuring around our variety of game worlds such as an underwater city, a flying steampunk metropolis, a 256-player battle royale on the moon, and more!

Players do not need to have any prior knowledge of Minecraft or NirvanaOnline to participate.

  • Players are required to have a Minecraft account. The Library will be able to provide a limited number Minecraft accounts. When you register, please indicate if you will be using your own account or one provided by the Library.
  • Computers will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own. When you register, please indicate if you will be bringing your own computer.
  • Players are encouraged (but not required to) have a Minecraft: Java Edition account in order to secure their progress between play sessions.
