Holden, Professor of History at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, is the author, with Zach Messitte and Jerald Podair, of Republican Populist: Spiro Agnew and the Origins of Donald's Trump's America. Join us to learn how Vice President Spiro Agnew’s efforts to make the Republican Party representative of the "silent majority" is related to the populist, anti-establishment sentiment present in today's Republican Party.
