Book -- Country Views: The Essential Agrarian Commentaries of Zachary Michael Jack

Presenter -- Zachary Michael Jack

Zachary Michael Jack is the author of many books on the environment, non-metro living, and the restorative power of place. A faculty member in the Leadership, Ethics, and Values program at North Central College, Jack serves on the board of directors of the Midwestern History Association.

Zachary’s fiction has earned national runner-up honors in its class in the Foreword Reviews Book of the Year Award; his poetry has been awarded the Prentice Hall Prize, and his nonfiction has received nominations for the Pushcart (Best of the Small Presses) Prize and numerous book-of-the-year awards.The author and his work have been featured in USA Today, the Chicago Tribune, the San Francisco Chronicle,  the Washington Examiner, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the Albuquerque Journal, and the Des Moines Register among others.
