Newspapers! Oh, the gems that can be found in them when working with your genealogy. This session is going to explore many, many WOWS beyond just those vital dates of born, married, died. Delve into the modern equipment used on the farm and in the home, clothing styles, decorating fads, issues of major and minor concern, the weather; read a serial story; check out the social venue; and more. Think of that old newspaper as the Facebook of their time!
