Ole and his son Jennings operated the Bauge Shoe store in Ames for many years.Lars was the father of Elden Bauge of Ames, the last Bauge resident of the family cabin and youngest of the Lars Bauge family. Marie Bauge lived on 9th Street in Ames until her death at 96 in March 1963.
