The Post Office, prior to 1912, was located on Douglas Avenue in part of the building now (1994) located by IES (gas company). From left to right, Henry May, Ames's first school teacher who in later life was a rural mail carrier; Mr. Coon, Uford Rich, Ben Keltner, and Racine Goble (other six men are unidentified.
