Christmas week on Onondaga (Main) Street in 1895. Adam's Grocery at left advertised "fancy" foods, "crockery & glassware". Tilden's further down on left offered men's two-piece suits for $4.00. Grove's had "muffler, mittens, & fascinators" on sale. Judisch Drug boasted "Ames Most Important Display". Paving, street lights and autos still had not arrived on Main Street.
