Bigelow home on Duff from 1897 souvenir edition of the Ames Intelligencer. Sarah Bigelow lived here for a number of years following her husband's (S. E.) death in 1890. The house was on the west side of the street (1115 Duff Avenue) about where Mary Greeley Medical Center's short-stay unit is today (1994). This house stood until that part of the hospital was constructed.
