The interior of the Park House, a popular hotel in Sac City, Iowa, in the early 1900s. The Park House was one that was frequented by businessmen as they traveled by train or buggy around Iowa selling their wares. One of those commercial travelers was the grandfather of Farwell Brown, Kendrick Wade Brown, who sold men's clothing to stores throughout the midwest for 42 years for a New York company. This diningroom is typical in appearance to small town hotels of the day.
