National Guard Armory on southside of Fifth Street across from present-day (1991) Tribune building. Dedicated February 17, 1905, it was used for musical and dramatic presentations until 1912 (WW I). ISU played its first inter-collegiate men's basketball here. In front can be seen tracks for the Dinkey Railroad. Armory later housed the O'Neil Dairy. Was razed in 1985.
