The K K Club (for Kamp Komfort) was a social club founded in 1904 by a group of young Ames women. The club lasted at least until 1954 when its members held a 50th anniversary celebration. The "mock wedding" party pictured here was held in the home of Lydia Bigelow around 1906. Shown, seated from left to right are Dais Hathaway (in large hat), Cassey Niu (in moustache, name is uncertain), Winifred Tilden (with pipe), Esse Hathaway (back to camera, portraying the flower girl), and Lydia Bigelow; standing, left to right are Agnes Tilden (as the minister), Mary "Mame" Tilden [Brown] (as the best man), Anna Bartholomew (as the groom), Clara McConnell (as the bride), Ada Newell(as the bridesmaid), and Daisy Brown (in the straw bonnet).
