The Farm House on the campus of Iowa State College in about 1908 when Charles F. Curtiss, who had been appointed professor of agriculture and dirctor of the experiment station on Feb. 4, 1897, lived in it with his wife Olive Wilson Curtiss and their two daughters Edith and Helen. This photograph shows the house before stucco covered the brick exterior and before the porch was added to its west side. Off to the left of the photograph can be seen a tree house in the west yard.
