A photograph of Sac City's Park Hotel (earlier called Park House) with the motorized shuttle/taxi standing at the curb. The original building is the frame two-story structure on the left. The four-story brick addition was probably added around 1900. Kendrick Wade Brown, a commercial traveler for a New York clothing firm, stayed at Park House on numerous occasions as he covered his midwest territory. This structure was later converted into an apartment house.
