On September 9, 1894, the Christian Church dedicated this new church on the northeast corner of Fifth Street and Burnett Avenue in downtown Ames. This photo was probably taken in about 1910, five years before the streets in that area were paved. A farewell service was held here on June 17, 1928, and on the same day the church held a dedication ceremony for its present [2011] building, located at Clark Avenue and Sixth Street.
