From the Youth & Shelter Sevices collection: Looking north along the west side of Kellogg Avenue from Sixth Street. From a photocard placed in the time capsule within the cornerstone of the Municipal Building during its 1915 construction. Prominent house on the left is the house of Lou Tilden and his family. It is followed by the house of the Frank Schleiter family. [That house still stands in 2011.] Bethesda Lutheran Church [later Ascension Lutheran Church] would be built on the far corner of this block in the 1920s.
