This photo, taken from the 1915 time capsule found in the cornerstone of the Ames Municipal Building when it was renovated for use by Youth and Shelter Services in 1996, shows the First Congregational Church on the northeast corner of Sixth Street and Kellogg Avenue. The parsonage is at the right. The church was built in 1901 and still (2000) stands in this location, with extensive additions.
