On March 18, 1900, the Ames Congregationalists dedicated a new church on the northeast corner of Kellogg and Sixth. It replaced a woodframe structure built on the same corner in 1866. The street grade was lowered when Kellogg was paved. In 1991, the church celebrated 125 years in the same location. Photo taken around 1915.
