This photo, looking east, shows the Lincoln Way bridge over Squaw Creek after it collapsed in June 1918. A flood earlier in the month weakened the structure and it collapsed as the Goddard family car crossed it. The occupants of the car were not injured and were rescued with ropes and ladders.
