The Student Army Training Corps (S.A.T.C.), a precursor to the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (R.O.T.C.), on the campus of Iowa State College in about 1918 or 1919. This photograph was given to Farwell Brown by the daughter of Herb Klagge, who was a student at that time. Pictured is the band unit of the S.A.T.C.
