The inside of the Clear View School, once located on the northwest corner of Highway 60 and Airport Road, looked like this around 1920. Billy Sunday, the evangelist, had attended this one-room school 40 years earlier. The frame building was replaced in 1923 with a modern brick schoolhouse which, at the time, local residents hoped would make it possible to avoid its being included in a school consolidation plan.
