A float in the 1922 VEISHEA parade. The Sunshine Club actually referred to a rooming house (once, the Hawkeye Fraternity) at 218 Welch Avenue. The house was built by Hans Jacob Hansen, the father of Ruth Hansen Boast. There was also a group of students, known informally as The Sunshine Club, who sat on the steps of the Hub and socialized with one another. This float may have represented either group.
