An army truck used in the very first VEISHEA, Iowa State College's student-run annual festival, in the spring of 1922. This entry in the parade is mounted on a World War I army vehicle which had been assigned to Iowa State's military science program after the war. Note the metal wheels and lack of tires on the vehicle. The truck is decorated in a very simple fashion and represents the coming of the railroads to Iowa. Morrill Hall can be seen to the left in this photograph.
