A boys' recreational program was conducted by Iowa State College athletic coach Hugo Otopalik in the summer of 1926. With the Lions Club providing the transportation, the group spent an afternoon at Ledges State Park. The photo shows the outing participants gathered for the return trip to Ames. The only person identified is Hugo Otopalik, who is seated in the extreme right of the photograph. (See also: 33.168.4-6;34.170.1-3)
