George Judisch and his brother A.L. established a drug store in 1894 (George was then 23 years old). The store remained open until 1955. George taught pharmacy classes for 26 years at Iowa State, was chairman of the board of the Union Story Trust and Savings Bank, served on the boards of the Ames Public Library and Mary Greeley Medical center.
