The "Ringing for Peace" poster in the Congregational Church on the northeast corner of Kellogg Avenue and Sixth Street in downtown Ames. This photograph was taken sometime in 1983. Groups of Ames citizens would take turns coming to the bell tower in the church once each week to "ring for peace."
