Site where the Ames Public Library addition was being built in 1984-85, taken from Fifth Street, looking north. The original library building (dedicated in 1904) can be seen in the center of the photograph and the 1941 addition can be seen on the far left. This photograph was taken after the Benson Motor building had been cleared from the site and the construction of the library addition had not yet begun.
