C & NW Locomotive No. 1385 which visited Ames in 1985. The train was no longer in service but was making a "history" tour of central Iowa. The locomotive is shown on the tracks, soon after to be removed, going south to Des Moines. This Pacific-type 4-6-2 steam locomotive is now stored in the train museum in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
