The top part of the tombstone of Rev.John White, the first minister and one of the founders of the Congregational church in Ames. The stone was cleaned of the debris under which it rested, repaired, and reset in the Wittemberg Cemetery after it had been discovered by Lawrence Hammerly of the Wittemberg Congregational Church in 1987.
