Sorghum shed located adjacent to the Bauge log home when it was located northeast of Huxley. The Bauge family raised sorghum cereal grain on their farm. They processed the grain to produce sorghum molasses in this shed. The structure was no longer in use at the time the log cabin was moved to McFarland Park near Ames in 1988 for restoration by members of the Ames Heritage Association. The shed was not moved.
