The new water pollution control plant, located south of Ames on the east side of interstate highway 35 (56797 280th Street). Note I-35 in the upper part of the picture. This photograph was taken from the air on October 13, 1989, by Ames city employee Gary Moore and was used for the new plant's dedication booklet. The photograph looks westerly. (See also: 228.1314.1)
