Photograph, taken in May of 1998 by Farwell Brown to illustrate a story he was writing on the old cinder path leading to Iowa State University's campus. The trail was a popular one, taken by students and others, for many decades. This photo shows the portion of the old path, now paved with asphalt, west of Elwood Drive.
