Purpose of Meeting
ASIP is the only known organization in Ames sponsoring asylum seeking Immigrants who have passed the "credible fear" interview for border legal entry. The ASIP Committee for support of our Bolivian family includes members from Ames and Gilbert who are from diverse faith congregations or consistent beliefs in our work. Ames Public Library unites disbursed members in a perfect open setting. As a Director of the Ames Rotary, I especially delight in using this room--but substitutes are fine.
