Purpose of Meeting
The Ames Cybersecurity and Technology Club (ACT) will host its second annual workshop for elementary and middle school students to learn about cybersecurity and technology. This content will include, but is not limited to, phishing, malware, passwords, and encryption, to equip attendees with the knowledge to protect themselves against cyber threats. We will also cover electrical grid security, which helps protect our society's critical infrastructure and prevent power disruptions. All who attend are welcome to accompany ACT high school mentors on a visit to the Alliant Energy/ISU Solar Farm the following Saturday! More information will be provided at the workshop.
