Home Voices Festival

The Home Voices Festival is a long-standing tradition of Iowa State University's MFA in Creative Writing and Environment, which has historically been held in partnership with the Ames Public Library. For the day of (it will only be one day, but we are waiting to hear from our alums to see which day works best), we'd use the auditorium for a few hours in the afternoon: we'd hold a 1-hr panel of alums about their journey after the MFA program as published authors, break for brief snacks (15-30 min), then hold a reading (1h30, likely) of the written works of alums. It would be open to the public, and has meant so much to us to partner with APL in the past.
