Russia, Ukraine, and US: Why it should concern us? (Jeffery Weiss)

Jeffery Weiss is an adjunct professor of Political Science at Des Moines Area Community College and is a board member of Catholic Peace Ministry, a Des Moines based group that advocates for a world without war. In this presentation and discussion he will explain the history behind the outbreak of political violence in the former Soviet Union, how the ensuing Russian Federation has viewed the conflict, and what led up to this war. He will discuss the USA's and NATO's roles as well and welcome dialogue with interested audience members.
