Purpose of Meeting
The purpose of this meeting is to host a meal as part of Stephanie Steiner’s Campaign Kickoff Tour. This will be a time were residents of Story county and surrounding areas will have a chance to come out and meet the Candidate, Learn about her campaign and have the opportunity to ask questions.
Along with the meal, the event will provide:
Instruction focused on safety during protests and the rights of protesters
Training in nonviolent de-escalation techniques for protest settings
Materials and assistance to support participants in sign-making for upcoming demonstrations
This event is open to the public and no Registration is Necessary, but it does help us to determine food an supplies for the event.
