Purpose of Meeting

The Ames Sanctuary Interfaith Partners (ASIP) supports the needs and humane treatment of our asylum-seeking and undocumented immigrants. This includes our DACA immigrants. Our members come from 13 Ames faith congregations (to date) including the Christian, Jewish, Islamic, and Buddist faith. Before the virus, our once-a-month Assembly Meeting greatly appreciated the library room as a place that is "neutral" and nicely quiet. It will be a joy, after the distance between us through Zoom, to once again be able to come together in such a special meeting place.
