School Board Candidate Forum

This will be a candidate forum for the Ames School Board Candidates hosted by the League of Women Voters of Ames and Story County.

This Forum is hosted by the League of Women Voters.

People may attend in person or virtually through a Zoom live stream. All candidates for the Ames School Board have been invited to participate in the forum.

To participate in the live stream, email LWV-ASC President Carolyn Klaus at Prez.lwvasc@gmail.com, and you will receive the link.

You may send questions for the candidates in advance to Prez.lwvasc@gmail.com. Questions will also be taken during the forum.

Please vote in the upcoming City/School Elections! These are important elections that affect our local communities.

Due to the reduced amount of time allowed by law to receive and return absentee ballots, all voters are encouraged to vote early or in person if they are able.

Early Voting is available in the Auditor's Office beginning on Oct 13.

Satellite Early Voting is available on these dates at these locations:

Thursday, Oct. 14: Scheman Building, ISU Campus (10 a.m. - 4 p.m.)

Saturday, Oct. 30: Ames Public Library (10 a.m. - 4 p.m.)

Election Day Voting is Nov 2 from 7 am to 8 pm at your regular precinct polling location.
