0-6 Months:

Cute book that shows the itsy bitsy spider song. Features cute illustrations with a friendly spider. There are very colorful and playful illustrations that young eyes would love to admire
- Hickory Dickory Dock by Charles Reasoner
Short book that shows the song “hickory dickory dock”. Features adorable illustrations of a mouse running up a clock. This book includes very large and sturdy pages that young hands would love to play with.
6-12 Months:
- Rock-a-Bye Baby by Melissa Everett
This board book is very whimsical, with simple illustrations. This would be a great book to sing as a song, or even read out loud. It features rhyming words and “moving” words across the page. The illustrations are very entertaining to look at, and include a baby on every page.
- The Wheels on the Bus by Yu-Hsuan Huang
This interactive songbook would be a great way to introduce children to the wheels on the bus song. This would be a great book for children because it includes colorful illustrations, with interactive tabs. You can spin the bus wheels, use the windshield wipers for the bus, bounce babies up and down, andpush the bus down the street. Children would love ‘singing’ along while playing with the book.
12-24 Months:
- Frosty the Snowman by Steve Nelson and Jack Rollins
This cute board book tells the classic tale of Frosty the Snowman. This could be sung or just read aloud. This book includes bright illustrations with an adorable snowman to sing along with.
- Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? By Bill Martin Jr.
This creative board book rhymes ‘see’ and ‘me’ on every page. The book goes through asking various animals what they see, and the animals describing what is looking at them. The illustrations in this book are textured and very creative, so children would love to touch and admire them. This would also be a great book.
